III. There are many possible solutions to this problem. The possible solutions are: (Two articles must be attached and annotated bibliography)
by increasing tax and balancing the prices between healthy and unhealthy food. Another possible solution is to tax fast food to a certain percentage to pay for the Medicare, Medicaid and other private insurer for people. This can also go to state school aid and can reduce relying on property taxes.
IV. The solution I (we) propose is: (This section will become your proposed legislation. Be sure to include what agency will implement your law, proposed cost if any and effective date)
to balance out the tax put onto healthy and unhealthy food and enough tax to help with Medicare, Medicaid and other private insurers. This would decrease obesity and help with other problems with the world. The Department of Public Health would implement this law and support with this solution.
V. I (we) think this solution will work because: (You must use factual information to prove your solution will work)
if we do this, it gives consumers to think about what they want instead of looking at the cost. Mr. Ortiz, a member of the "Twinkie Police" agreed upon this and said there are too many of the young and poor who eat too much unhealthy food from it being cheap. Also, with the tax it can help Medicare and help the government a lot for people who are obese from fast food.
